I’m in the process of changing my decorating style from the very fussy Victorian style to a simpler modern farmhouse design. I have two tall candlestick lamps in my dining room and the gold beaded lamp shades had to go. These white lamp shades were exactly what I needed to simplify the look of these lamps. The clip on adapters keep the lamp shades at an optimal height. They were a little loose on my bulbs, but I just squeezed them together and they are holding fine.These are smaller shades and would work well for accent lighting, desk lamps or, as in my case, dining room buffets. The lamp shades as well as the clip on adapters seem to be made well and look sturdy. The clip on adapters went on very easily and smoothly.My only concern is the PVC lining which can yellow or brown with prolonged heat exposure, especially from traditional incandescent bulbs. I have had other lamp shades do this. I think I will switch out my bulbs for LEDs, which run much cooler.I’m very happy with these lamp shades. The clean simple look, at an affordable price, is exactly the update I was looking for.

When I moved recently, a couple of my lamp shades didn’t make it. So I ordered this set to replace them. The lamp shades come already as is with the fabric on the frames. These are NOT the kind of shades where you have to spend an hour clipping the fabric on and Velcro it. They are well made and look great.The shades feel sturdy. I can either attach them to a lamp with a finial or clip the shades onto a bulb with the included attachments.Overall, these are just what I needed to replace the shades for our bedroom night lamps.
