These dimmable bulbs actually work properly.With dimmer all the way down they still emit just enough light to let you know they are still on.Low level dimming is consistent. There's no turning off the switch to find that the bulb will not light up until you turn up the dimmer and then drag it back down again as with the EcoSmart and other brands.

Sometimes you want a bulb that's not really bright

It's hard to find A19 base LED bulbs with this low light output, but sometimes a 60w equivalent bulb is too bright. These are kinda expensive, but hopefully they will last a lot longer than the really cheap bulbs.
