Very nice, brightness is good, and easy to use, bonus little storage area!

Love this light. I love all the different settings. I use this as a bedside lamp because it has so many different settings.

Great for power outages! This is light weight and easy to move around with you. It gives off just enough light.

These lights are great for the price (got 3 of them for under $20 and one of them a little over $20). First you get the batteries with this lantern. 5 Energizer PowerMax batteries 3 for the lantern, 2 for the removable puck light. It also comes with a removable 18650 battery. One thing to note is that you won't get full lumens with the 3 AA batteries, you'll get a lower amount of light and doesn't let you dim. If you want the full 1000 lumens you need to run off the 18650. This also gives you the option to dim the light. The puck light is a nice touch. It gives up a good amount of light. It can give enough light to make your way in a dark room, but nothing close to what the main lantern puts out. I would say maybe a small bedroom/bathroom. I also like that you can store items inside the center and has a little shelf inside, this helps keep things somewhat organized. I keep a multitool, Swiss Army Knife, extra batteries, and a small First Aid KitThese do put out a lot of light. I bought four of them, but I could easily light my two floor 1500 sq foot home with two of these and the two small pucks. I also tested them out at my mom's single floor 2400 sq foot home and placed them at the ends of the house and they basically light up everything with only 3 lanterns and 3 pucks. I've been updating my emergency kits and was focusing on lighting and these four will replace a lot of my older lanterns. I live in California and in earthquake country and get an occasional storm, so these will come in handy. They feel sturdy and well-built and hope I can get anywhere from 5-10 years of life out of them.

Not nearly as bright as marketed but some good features with the use of AA batteries/storage to replace in the field. There are no instructions with the product which seems silly.

This light gives good light quality but is very heavy when batteries are in it so moving it around , such as camping is not possible. Poor ease of use.

I’ve kept a camping light in my house for the past five years in case electricity goes out during a storm. My old one that gave only five hours of light died so I searched Amazon for a replacement. This one meets every expectation and rises well above the old lantern. We had a storm a couple of nights ago and this wonderful little light stayed on for the 8+ hours that I slept. There is an outlet so you can plug your phone in to charge and a removable light on top that you can carry with you if you don’t want to carry the entire light. Also a compartment inside to store the plug, extra batteries or any smaller items. I’d order again in a heartbeat!
