This is exactly what I needed to use my phone for recording videos on my desk. I build Gunpla model kits, this has really been a huge quality of life improvement for me! Everything feels quality made, especially for the price. It’s nice and sturdy, and the 3 tones for the lights are a nice touch for capturing different vibes. Super happy I got this!

I’ve been using this to record while doing nails or to go live and it’s been really useful. I love how you can angle the light how you need without affecting the phone at all. Great for content creation! It isn’t bulky at all and the phone holder is super sturdy. Your phone isn’t going anywhere lol.

This ring light strip holder is fantastic! Installation was super easy, and the adjustable stand allows me to easily position the light wherever I need it. I needed something sturdy for filming straight down at my hands, and this setup is absolutely perfect. The mount and ring light were easy to assemble, and every part is fully adjustable so you can get the exact angle you need. It’s a great size, not too bulky, but large enough to hold my phone securely and reach over my workspace without getting in the way.The ring light is bright with adjustable settings for intensity, which makes a big difference for clear, even lighting in videos. It feels stable once clamped to the counter, and it folds up easily for storage when not in use. Excellent quality for the price! Definitely recommend for creators, crafters, or anyone filming tutorials or product shots!

There are some good things and some bad things about this product. First off, it's priced fairly decent. The light has 3 modes, is very large, and honestly puts out quite a bit of light. I use this setup for doing TT videos and lives for my crafting projects. I could easily use this with just the ring light. I like that you can adjust the light separately from the arm setup. The arm is easy to move and adjust for a large amount of different positions.However, there are two things I really dislike about this setup that honestly defeat the whole purpose of having it. First, the fact that the retractable holder for the phone barely accommodates my android phone. It simply does not have enough stretch to it, so I have to extend it fully and can only have it in one spot on my phone to keep from hitting all the volume/power buttons on the side. It would probably work better if I removed my phone from its case, but who in their right mind doesn't keep their phones in a quality case these days? I don't want to take my phone out of its defender case just to use this setup.Second thing, because of where I have to keep the phone in the phone holder, it means I cannot see 3/4 of my phone screen or access the screen. When doing live videos, I can't see comments or interact with my audience because it covers up so much of the phone. It makes filming so difficult that I am almost tempted to get rid of this set up completely.As far as the product goes, it was easy enough to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. However, the phone holder part doesn't accommodate larger phones, at least not with them in their cases, and because of how it all sits together and how you have to keep the phone inside the holder so you don't accidentally turn off your phone, it means you can't access your phone screen or see a huge chunk of it during filming. I'm not sure if this would hold true for all setups like this, but this one just isn't that user friendly.

LOVE this ring light tripod! My remote and the ring light worked perfectly, as I noticed some reviews from a few customers who had issues with one or the other. The tone of the light changes with a button (for some reason I thought it had 3 different rings) so this is very convenient. The brightness level can be dimmed or increased with +/- buttons- also convenient. The tripod is very sturdy, but I did have to come to the Q&A here to figure out how to extend the legs (instructions don't cover this part but should). For those that need to know, there are 3 little clamps at the very bottom of the legs- if you open those you can extend it to adjust to several different sizes.Now, onto the part that holds your camera or phone. I don't know why it took me a while to figure this out (the instructions don't tell you this) but you can flip it since there are two holes to fit screws on this piece. Once you flip it, it will hold your phone in an upright position. Good thing I came back to this product and looked through pics, reviews, and Q&A as I had considered returning it since I needed my phone to remain upright.I just think the leg extension and the phone/camera piece being able to turn should be addressed in the instructions. This ring light tripod is truly amazing though. I have used it in a fb live video and it made for a very nice soft light filter. I recommend this item for sure!

Updated Review: After my initial review, I was contacted by the seller and offered a replacement product in order to revise my original review. Within 2 days of receiving the replacement product, I had the same problem as the original. My husband uses this light extensively during Zoom meetings while working from home full time. Within 2 days, the foam tape holding the LED tape had released and the LED tape would lean against the light diffuser, making individual diodes visible and overly bright.I dismantled the original light that was received and removed as much of the foam tape as I could without damaging the LED tape ring. I replaced the original foam tape with 3M VHB double-sided foam tape and after several days of continuous use, I have not had any problems.Overall, this is a great light if you are taking selfies for social media, but the adhesive used is not suitable for extended use of the light for video conferencing while working from home. I really like that you can change the color temperature of the light and the brightness to suit many different environments. After my modifications it works great as a light source for video conferencing, but be aware that if you intend to use the light for 6-8 hours per day, 5 days per week, you will need to use a better adhesive tape. Popping off the light diffuser is fairly simple, and the LED tape was already separated from the back panel. I removed the top layer of the foam tape without damaging the LED ring and used the 3M VHB tape in small pieces around the ring. Replacing the light diffuser cover is a bit challenging for 1 person because you have to apply even pressure to the entire ring to snap it back into place. It was a simple procedure with 2 people.Overall, the tripod and included phone holder have had zero problems and I think the tripod is really high quality.Original Review: I was pretty impressed with this product at first because it was a competitive price and appeared to be a really good quality. After a couple months of use, the LED strip comprising the ring inside the light has detached from the back piece and is loose inside. This makes it fall forward against the diffuser and makes it too bright in areas with individual LEDs showing. I'm going to have to try and separate the cover to get to the internals and glue the LED strip back down to the backing. Which means something will likely break or I'll find the cover is glued on vs snap on and it will not be repairable.
