Alabaster Table Lamp

I have always liked stoneware and am slowly building a collection of various stoneware items in my home. I have a particular liking for marble items, and while alabaster isn't marble they look somewhat similar. So I was very excited to see this Rinweey 23" Alabaster Lamp for review.Packaging/Presentation/Assembly: The lamp arrived in a pretty generic brown box. Inside was the lamp which was secured by a styrofoam casing with lots of tape around it. The lamp is basically assembled other than the lampshade, and assembly was very easy and took me less than 5 min. You basically just put the shade together (it's velcro), fit the shade holders into the top and bottom of the shade, put the lamp harp on, and screw the lampshade on. The lightbulb is also included which adds a nice little touch.Look/Feel/Use: The lamp looked about as expected and has a classy, sophisticated look to it. The alabaster stone base and stem feels very smooth and polished and has a decent amount of heft to it which I like, and which I guess you'd expect from stone. The very bottom of the lamp that sits on your table has a canvas/cloth type material on it and was not stone like the rest of the lamp base and most of the stem was. The cord is tactfully threaded through a small hole in the back of the lamp which was hardly noticeable. The lamp has 3 light modes that are controlled by a traditional lamp switch: base/stem only, lightbulb only, and both at the same time. My favorite is the base/stem only mode because that's really where the lamp shines, so to speak. The colors and different hues of the stone really stand out and you see things that you won't see without the light on - different shades of white, grey, coffee brown, and even a couple dark brown spots thrown in. It adds a nice bedtime ambiance which I find relaxing and perfect for winding down with a book before a night's rest.Price/Value: Based on my very non-scientific 1 min search of potential "alabaster lamp" competitors on this site, many of the lamps came in sets of two. While I understand getting a better deal for a set of two that's a bit more expensive together, based on this search (dividing some of these by two) even at the sale price of ~$80 today for a single lamp I'd consider this on the higher end of the price range, which is the only reason I'm deducting a star on this review. If you're looking for only one lamp this might be close to a good price, but your dollar can stretch further if you buy two. Always do your own research as pricing is always subject to change.Conclusion: I absolutely love how this lamp looks and feels, especially when the alabaster base/stem is lit up which is my favorite mode. The lamp feels quality, and looks quality too. I have absolutely no complaints about the lamp itself. Based on my quick nonscientific search, if you're just looking for one lamp this is an alright price, but there are many 2 sets of these lamps being sold for slightly more which may offer better bang for your buck, which is the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars. However, I always ask myself two questions in these reviews: 1) Did I like the product? and 2) Do I see myself continuing to use it? I can very confidently answer "Yes" to both questions here. In fact, this lamp replaced my old bedside lamp on my nightstand, and I would recommend it to a potential buyer.

This is a unique lamp to add some elegance and accent to any space. It is decent enough size to be a living room lamp while small enough to fit on a bed stand for a reading lamp. The alabaster finish allows it to compliment almost any decor definitely flow very well against granite or marble table tops and counters. It is a Dimmable fixture with a simple yet sleek shade. It is a high quality lamp sturdy and priced fairly for the quality of the product.

I really liked this lamp. I wasn't sure if I would, but it is nicer than I expected. Set up was easy, and pieces simply screwed together. Lightbulb was included so you could use this instantly instead of hunting down lightbulbs. The lamp has several settings. You can light up the main lamp and shade, but the base also illuminates. This provides a nice touch in addition to the upper part, or can be left on alone for mood lighting or nightlight purposes. I loved the way that this whole thing illuminated, and provided a softer light than normal with my other lamps.

This lamp is exquisitely beautiful. But, I’ve always loved alabaster, and this does not disappoint. It arrived very well packaged and was extremely easy to assemble. Even the lampshade went together well. I didn’t need to go find a light bulb that would fit, because there was one already included. I particularly enjoy the nightlight feature where you can just turn on the lower portion of the lamp. The light through the base is soft and warm. The base is stable and perfectly flat. I was initially concerned that a tall, narrow lamp like this would be unstable and prone to tipping over. But, the base is heavy enough that it would take some doing to knock it over. All that being said, this is quality lamp , and I am really pleased with it.

This lamp is absolutely beautiful! The alabaster-style design gives it an elegant, high-end look that fits perfectly in my boutique. It's one of those pieces that catches your eye as soon as you walk into the room. My only surprise was opening the box and realizing there wasn't a light bulb included, so I had to make an extra trip before I could enjoy it. Once I got a bulb in, though... wow. This is a beautiful 23-inch bedside table lamp. It also operates as a nightlight with a four-way rotary switch to control the white light, has a white cotton shade, and includes LED bulbs. You don’t need to go out to get anything.This lamp has a genuine alabaster body with a plated brass shade. It has weighted electroplated brass. This is an excellent bedside lamp, an office lamp, or a college student's lamp.It has a built-in rotary control that lets you turn the light on and off and set it to nightlight-only. I have both lights on, so it's a 9 W, 3000 K LED main light.
