I got this chandelier to update the lighting over our dining room table. Out of the box, you have to attach all the crystals yourself, which definitely takes some patience. However, once we got it fully assembled and wired up, it looked absolutely stunning. The crystals have a nice weight to them and catch the light perfectly.The gold finish adds a really elegant touch to the room. It puts out a ton of light with all fifteen bulbs, making it great for hosting dinners. Given the size and look, the price feels very fair for the quality you get. I would highly recommend it if you do not mind a little assembly time.

The gold plating is beautiful and anywhere that I noticed edges to it they're on the top side of another piece so that you would never notice it from below the chandelier. The crystals are clear and heavy glass. The glass does have sharp edges so that it maintains that luster. That's partly why I've scanned the instructions so that you might realize they intend for you to assemble most of the chandelier hanging already. So, if you were planing on a single ladder to accomplish everything in a single lift, you'll end up with broken shards of crystal all over the place as you try to wrestle with it. You have to assemble the frame then mount it. Only then when it's already on the ceiling can you start to add the crystal without the pieces banging on each other and shattering. The weight and size are substantial. I wanted to give you a sense of how the 3 trays of parts are packed within the box. The metal is steel as it's magnetic which is then electroplated in gold or brass. (It's gold color but would more likely be brass as the plating metal.) The wiring for each light come together in a single location. You may have a different way that you prefer to do your wiring, but they don't give you instructions on what an electrician should know. They expect you're going to use a qualified electrician who is going to use his own tools and parts he trusts anyhow. The listing is clear there are no light bulbs included. I recommend you think about that right away for a good reason. If you intend to install this on a dimmer switch, then you need to know whether it's analogue or digital as LED bulbs this size which can dim are very expensive for the quality ones which will not flicker and use glass. (I also review the bulbs in Vine.) You may find out that you'll spend nearly half as much on higher end bulbs and dimmer - especially if you're adding smart capabilities - as you are spending on the chandelier itself. Yes, of course there are low cost versions - just think twice about the plastic housed bulbs. They'll be obvious against this much glass crystal.

I have been looking at an aged chandelier in my foyer for fifteen years and finally came across something worthy of hanging in my entry way! This is a beautiful chandelier!! It is perfectly packed for shipping, arriving without issue, ready for assembly. The assembly process is a bit time consuming -- lots of pieces to put together and it is a heavy chandelier for one person to install. It does not come with the lightbulbs, which is not a problem for me in that I am pretty choosy about the type of lightbulbs installed in our fixtures. It is a perfect statement piece for my foyer -- hangs down far enough to be seen through the main window above my entry door. The crystals are brilliant and enhance the light coming from the lightbulbs -- making it a perfect brightness for a large foyer! The installation manual is well-written and easy to follow. While this chandelier is wired for dimming, I did not connect it to a dimmable switch. I am so pleased with this find! It is definitely worth the price in my opinion and suits my need perfectly!

I’m rating this high because the end results are fantastic!!!The negatives…I won’t deduct stars for these because I do have the know how…1. Bulbs not included2. The wire nuts are too small3. HANDLE CAREFULLY because we had MANY shards of broken crystals and they’re quite sharp!I think no bulbs are not a big deal but #2 and #3 are a big deal if you don’t have spare nuts around or you’re not careful with the broken glass. Both of those fall under quality control and they should do something about it before this beautiful light is so lowly rated that no one will buy it.It took 4+ hours to assemble and put up…More with the wrong nuts. So installation will be solely on your experience. We also hung it very high in the stairwell so that added some time.Once assembled and hanging it’s worth every penny! It’s stunning and even with the broken crystals there were enough to install the chandelier.I do hope they can get it together on the quality control side so it’s available for people in the future. It is a quality light. Substantially heavy. Not a piece of lightweight junk. If you are prepared for a couple of hurdles it really is BEAUTIFUL and WORTH the EFFORT of installation!!
