This is a review for the Linkind Smart Solar Motion Spotlights...The Linkind series of LED lights have become my favorite for their versatility and operability. Amazingly customizable and well made, intuitive and creative designs, and these solar lights are no exception. These are by far the best solar walkway lights I've used as they have a quality solar charging panel, and their app is excellent for full customization for creating lighting schemes, schedules, and for security. There are a few improvements I would like to see however, namely a taller ground mound option, and a way to adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection. I feel the motion detection can be a little slow when the mount is very low to the ground. Not deal breakers but I feel it would greatly add to the experience and security features. Pretty much everything else about these lights I really like. The lights charge well in the sun, and have sturdy mounting options, energy efficient LED's, and an amazing range of colors and themes that you can make your own, or choose from many presents to add a little creative mood to your area. Fully compatible with smart home devices for voice activation and control, however these may require a mesh hub they sell separately for full voice activated control at longer distances. I can change the brightness and color and other features through the app without the hub so I'm perfectly happy with it now as my lights are close to my modem and phone. The quality construction and built in solar panel are obviously well made and use quality materials. The panel is not some cheap panel but a legitimate charging panel that doesn't require only the brightest sunlight. As long as these are mounted where they get a couple hours of sun they will do the job. Of course they are waterproof for rain and snow, and have a button on the bottom side where you can activate for a test or if you don't have your phone with you and the motion detection is off. You can set a schedule to where these come on at sunset and last till almost sunrise, or however you want them to come on at specific times.The AiDot app is well thought out and very useful. You can group lights together for lighting only a certain area at once, and even have the lights respond to the beat of your music on your phone. I don't personally use the music function for the outdoor lights but for the indoor I do on occasion and they work just the same. I think the value for these is quite good. They seem to be about the most full featured for this price range and the build quality is exceptional. Overall you can't go wrong here...Recommended!

These are the best smart, motion-based solar spotlights on the market. They are much heavier and well-constructed. I can see they are more durable, thanks to their thorough design. The two LEDs in each light are strong enough to illuminate a tree or object at night, with 43 preset scenes. Each light fixture is IP65-rated, so it will withstand most outdoor environments.The APP, AIDot, is easy to use and offers many options, but I normally use the preset scenes. It communicates via Bluetooth with each light fixture; once all are synced, they can be grouped or assigned specific settings. It is a far more advanced lighting system, so I just set it once for all by selecting one of 43 scene modes.It is ideal that you can add more lights to your home later; it gives flexibility for installation and actual usage.

I’m very impressed with these smart solar spotlights! This set comes with two lights and adjustable yard stakes, making it easy to position and angle them exactly where you want. Just two lights are enough to illuminate the entire front of my home.The lights are very bright and look fantastic shining against my white siding. I live in the country where we don’t have streetlights or much light pollution, so having good outdoor lighting makes a huge difference.One of my favorite features is being able to control everything through the app. There are more than 45 different scenes to choose from, so you can easily change the look depending on your mood, season, or holiday. You can use the motion sensor so the lights come on when movement is detected or have them stay on steadily. I haven’t tried the music-sync feature yet, but I’m excited to play around with that, especially during the holidays!Being completely solar powered is another huge plus. There are no power cables to run and no lights to constantly bring inside to recharge. Just place them where they can get sunlight and let the solar panels do the work.Overall, these have exceeded my expectations. They’re bright, convenient, easy to adjust, and packed with features. I especially love the combination of solar power and smart app controls. Definitely a great addition to my outdoor lighting!

I have gone thru a few sets of solar yard lights in recent times.None of them compare to the build quality on these let alone all the additional features! From motion settings to time controlled settings, these are outstanding.I can schedule them specifically when I want which sometimes the dead of night is best just for safety or late in the evening for the aesthetics they give. The rest of the house already has bulbs I can color customize now I can as well with the yard lights. Pairing was a breeze in the app and I am easily able to control them without being right on top of them.Pros:Great build qualityUnparalleled control and configurationsLight tuning between white temps or colors (If only my ring driveway camera was!)Cons:I only have 2 right now.

I received this 2-pack of Linkind SL5 Smart Solar Spotlights and overall, they are solid performers, but they have one major flaw that keeps me from giving them 5 stars: the battery is completely sealed and non-replaceable. For $50, I really expect to be able to swap out a rechargeable battery when it eventually degrades. Instead, these are completely sealed with no screws to open the casing, meaning once the battery dies, the whole unit is trash.That aside, the functionality is great, but you MUST use their app to get the most out of them.MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE SETUP:Without the app: I initially didn't want to download yet another app to my phone. I assumed I could just use the physical button on the bottom of the lights to cycle through the colors. However, without the app, the lights are preset to a motion-sensor-only mode. They just turn on when they detect motion and shut off after about 15 seconds.PRIVACY TIP: To use the AiDot app, you have to create an account with an email and password. I was uncomfortable using my primary email/password since I didn't want to risk any security issues with my banking or personal accounts. I highly recommend doing what I did: just create a free, new "burner" email address specifically for smart home apps.WITH THE APP: Once I finally downloaded the AiDot app, logged in, and linked the spot lights via blue tooth, I realized it really is the way to go. The app gives you incredible control over these spotlights. You can tune the white light anywhere from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, and you can pick just about any custom color you want. It unlocks so many functions that you simply can't access with the physical button on the bottom of the light.BUILD QUALITY: The build feels sturdy. They are made out of silicone and high-impact ABS plastic. The solar panel is 1.5W PET which essentially just means it uses a high-efficiency solar panel to charge faster in the sun. Included in the box are ground stakes and wall mounts, giving you good options for placement.THE GOOD:Amazing color options, functions, and temperature control (2700K - 6500K) via the AiDot app. Sturdy ABS plastic and silicone build with efficient solar panels. Comes with all necessary mounting hardware (stakes and wall anchors).THE NOT SO GOOD:Batteries are non-replaceable (sealed unit). Essentially stuck in a 15-second motion mode if you refuse to use the app.FINAL VERDICT: I am glad I downloaded the app because it makes these lights fantastic. However, at this price point, the inability to replace the battery limits their lifespan, which is why it gets 4 stars from me.
