These Brightever rechargeable light bulbs are a really convenient backup to have around the house, especially for unexpected power outages. They install like normal bulbs but provide the added benefit of battery-powered illumination when regular power isn’t available.Quality: 5/5The bulbs feel well-made and the construction seems solid. They don’t feel like a disposable emergency product, and the overall quality is reassuring for something intended to sit ready until it’s actually needed.Brightness: 4/5The 9W output provides plenty of light for general household use and is particularly useful during a power outage. They aren’t quite a replacement for a high-output dedicated emergency lamp, but they provide more than enough illumination to keep a room functional.Ease of Use: 5/5This is one of the biggest advantages. They install and operate just like ordinary light bulbs, so there’s very little learning curve. Having the emergency functionality built directly into the bulb also means there’s no separate device to set up when the power goes out.Fit: 5/5They fit standard household light fixtures just like conventional bulbs. I had no issues installing them in compatible sockets, and the normal bulb form factor makes them easy to incorporate into existing lighting.Value for Money: 5/5Getting six rechargeable emergency bulbs in one package makes this a particularly good value. Instead of buying dedicated emergency lights for multiple rooms, you can put these directly into existing fixtures and have backup illumination throughout the house.Lifespan: 4/5They appear to be built for repeated everyday use as well as occasional emergency operation. The long-term battery lifespan is naturally going to depend on how frequently the backup function is used and how well the batteries are maintained over time, so I wouldn’t expect the rechargeable component to last indefinitely.Overall:The Brightever rechargeable bulbs are an excellent convenience item to keep around the house. They provide useful everyday lighting while giving you backup illumination during a power outage without requiring a separate emergency light. The six-pack is particularly useful if you want coverage across multiple rooms, and the standard bulb design makes them extremely easy to install and use.

Overall, I like these bulbs. They're great portable lights that look "right" for light bulbs.These bulbs can be used just like regular bulbs in any standard (USA: E26) socket. But while on, they are also charging a battery (about 9 hours of on time to a full charge) and then they can be used as portable/emergency lighting.While running on battery the bulbs are not as bright as when on AC, and the brightness can be selected by switching the bulb off and on again fairly quickly. This selects between three light level - and the lowest is still quite good for many things. This is more than "not trip over pets" brightness. How is the light turned on? Short the contacts together - and this doesn't take much. Damp fingers are enough for the circuitry to sense to turn the bulb on.The included screw-in hangers (the bulb screws into them) can be carried or hung up for overhead lighting. The plug-in arrangement has blades that can rotate so it could fit into Type I (as used in Australia) sockets as well as Type A or B (USA). If you live an older house with older sockets, the blades might be a bit thin and not be tightly gripped by older fixtures - newer sockets will grip the blades tightly and the thing won't seem like it's hanging on, ready to fall. Not a fault of the product, but of older and possibly worn sockets.When I was using one of these bulbs outside, I accidentally dropped it. It fell at least 6 feet onto concrete and took no damage from the fall. I got curious and put one of the bulbs into a lamp in an upstairs bedroom and then turned off power to that room at the breaker box in the basement. The lamp was on when I left it. And, when I checked on it with the breaker off, the lamp was still lit and nothing else in the room was on. If these are in active use they will "fail over" automatically in the event of a power failure.I also left one bulb on (on internal battery) at the dimmest setting. When I came back to it an unplanned 10 hours later, it was still on and hadn't dimmed much if at all. Only 6 hours is promised and it lasted 10 and seemed as if it could keep on going even then.If you don't mind the 3000K "soft white" color temperature and 60W equivalent is enough for the job, these can be put into a fixture or lamp and be all but forgotten as they will work just like any regular bulb. Until the power fails or a breaker trips and then they will simply just keep on going for several hours. With the 6-pack, it's under $4/bulb which is impressive for what these bulbs do.

I’m really impressed with these rechargeable light bulbs. We decided to hang them from the ends of our patio cover, and they look absolutely awesome! They’ve added a really nice touch to our outdoor space and have made our patio much more enjoyable in the evenings.One of my favorite features is the **three brightness settings**. We can use the brighter setting when we need more light, or turn them down to create a softer, more relaxing atmosphere. The lower settings are especially nice when we’re sitting outside in the evening visiting with friends. They really help set the mood without making the patio feel overly bright.We’ve had **many compliments from friends** who come over to enjoy the warm summer evenings with us. Several have asked where we got the lights because they like the way they look hanging from the patio cover.I also really like that they’re **rechargeable**, so we don’t have to worry about running electrical cords all over the patio. That makes installation and moving them around very convenient. And having lights available that can also be used during a power outage is an added bonus.For us, these lights have turned our patio into a much more inviting place to spend the evening. They look great, provide several lighting options, and our friends seem to love them as much as we do.**Five stars without hesitation. These are a great addition to our patio, and I would definitely recommend them!**

These Brightever "Rechargeable Light Bulbs" are great and look to be of good quality. In the event of a power outage, they have a rechargeable battery in them that keeps the bulb on. Installation is as easy as changing a lightbulb!These type of LED bulbs are also a bit smart. They can tell the difference between an actual power outage and someone simply unplugging a lamp (so be wary of the review where the person did that as a test and said they do not work!!!!). This is also why the bulbs do not light up all by themselves. You can wet your thumb and index finger, touch the two metal pieces at the base of the bulb, and they will come on (don't worry, there is no danger of an electric shock). These bulbs also come with some accessories for you to hang the bulb or put into a power outlet.I have previously used another brand of these kind of LED bulbs, but those bulbs were physically larger which kept us from putting them in certain light fixtures, but these are closer to normal sized LED bulbs. The other bulbs will start a sort of a mild but annoying "flashing" as they warm up, the Brightover bulbs do not.Living in Florida with thunderstorms that seem to come out of nowhere and with the potential for tropical storms and hurricanes, having extra ways to light up your how in the even of a power outage is a GREAT thing to have where the power outage is brief or, like the last hurricane we experienced, four days (I know people who had no power for a solid month after the last one!!!).So far we like this, find them to be a good value for the money, and we do recommend them.
