Perfect Low Light, but the Dimming Takes Some Figuring Out

[Color: Warm White]
got these for my nightstand lamps after struggling to find bulbs that were actually dim enough for winding down before bed. Most of the bulbs I tried were still much brighter than I wanted, even when they were described as low light. These finally gave me the level of dimness I was looking for. The warm 2700K light works well at night, and at the lowest setting it gives me enough light to see without making the room feel brightly lit.The dimming method was new to me. Instead of using a dimmer switch, you cycle the lamp off and on within a certain amount of time to move through the brightness levels. The first time I installed the bulb it came on at the brighter setting, and I was able to cycle it down to the lowest level. The quirky part is that I haven’t successfully cycled it back up to the brighter setting. In my case, I don’t really care since the lowest setting is exactly what I wanted, but the dimming controls are not especially intuitive. If your main goal is finding a genuinely low-light bulb for a bedside lamp, these work well. If you expect simple, conventional dimming controls, there is a learning curve here.

Perfect When You Want a Little Light, Not a Bright Room

[Color: Warm White]
These bulbs are a great option when you need just a little light without lighting up the entire room. I especially like having the choice of three low brightness levels—1W, 3W, and 5W—so you can choose the amount of light that works best for the space. The softer light is perfect for areas where you don't need a full-strength bulb, such as a hallway, bedside lamp, bathroom, or anywhere you want some gentle nighttime lighting. They have a standard E26 base, so installation is as simple as screwing them into a regular household light fixture. I also like that the lower wattage means you're not wasting energy producing more light than you actually need. You receive two A19 bulbs in the package, and having the different brightness options makes them more versatile than a typical low-wattage bulb. These are simple, energy-efficient bulbs that do exactly what they're supposed to do—provide comfortable, low-level lighting without being overly bright.

Can u feel the dimmness? Can u feel the dimmness?

2 Pack Dimmable Dim Light Bulbs E26, A19, 2700k LED Warm LightHave you ever heard of dimmable lights without a dimmer? Well neither have I. But according to the directions, every time you turn them on and turn them off within one to three seconds it dims or goes to a higher level until it goes to its highest level, which I believe is 3 times. So every time you turn on these lights you’re gonna have to go through the whole process to get your perfect level of dimness. I don’t know if you want to go through that.At least it’s LED—it’s always gonna be low watt. Sure, there’s going to be times you’re gonna want more light and times when you’re gonna need less light. When you first turn it on it’s very light. You’re like, “Oh my God, this isn’t even enough light to stop me from tripping in the hallway.” But then you try it, and I believe you get to the highest level after turning it off one or two more times. All the settings on this bulb seem to be a little too light in brightness, and they do have sort of an amber glow to them, which I’m not sure if they specify so much in the marketing material. I just went to a big brand department store to purchase light bulbs for a hallway and I literally brought the wrong bulbs three times in a row because I didn’t understand how the lumens and the wattage and all that works. So if you’re like me, don’t worry—you’re human!I gotta say there’s worse things that you can manufacture. And after watching the marketing video this part has grown on me. It literally even has full print instructions: power off between half a second to three seconds, power on between half a second to three seconds, power off, repeat, repeat until you get to the next brightness or the highest brightness. And just to avoid confusion there’s an arrow pointing to the light switch, because most of us don’t know how to turn a light on or off. I really hope we’re not really stuck on those exact times—that’s just a lot of math.Yeah, I can see here that the brightness levels are one watt, then 3 watts, and then 5 watts. These are $8 each. Are they worth it? I don’t know, but you’re probably definitely paying for the novelty. And at least you don’t have to buy a dimmer switch, so that is a positive.
