This tiffany style lamp with glass dragonfly lampshade and wooden base is classic value. The dragonfly is an auspicious animal, symbolizing lighthearted joy. The lamp is plug-in but the bulb is a dimmable LED with standard sized E26 screw in base. The lamp is sturdy with a low center of gravity and should not tip over with ordinary use. It provides local indoor light anywhere you have a plug. I use it in my bedroom, it is good for bedside reading and casts a warm glowing and even colorful light because of the beautiful stained glass tiffany style lampshade. The only down-side is the glass lampshade is breakable, so do be careful with it and keep it out of reach of curious kids and cats. I recommend this high quality lamp for it's beauty. It is not cheap, but the materialism and workmanship as well as its beauty and class make it good value for money.

This lamp is so very cute! The stained glass shade is absolutely beautiful! The quality of the piece is very good. The lamp is made of very nice materials and is weighted nicely at the base to prevent it from tipping over. The wood base has a nice, exquisite look and a beautiful matte finish. The cord is a good length with an integrated dimmer switch that works flawlessly. The included LED bulb has selectable color temperatures and is dimmable as well. You can choose between cool, neutral, and warm white color temperatures. I do wish, however, that the bulb included the color selector switch at the base, or that it had a memory setting to remember the last color temp. selected. I don't particularly care for having to cycle through the colors each time I switch the lamp on. This, of course, is a minor gripe as bulbs are fairly affordable and one could select the bulb they want.The bulb socket is a standard bulb socket, however, keep in mind that the shade is short, so if you select a different bulb than the included one, you will have to take height into consideration as a standard length bulb won't fit. I'd say it's probably comparable to the length of an appliance bulb, such as those found in refrigerators. At that size, brightness and color temp can possibly be limiting, but there are outliers that do punch above their weight.Overall, I am infatuated with this cute little lamp. I love the look, I love the quality, I love the classic style. It is an all around hit at my place.
