Living in the desert in Palm Springs, I needed a large patio umbrella for summertime shading of my back patio doors and windows, and even the patio too. This is great. I got the beige color and it is dark enough to produce the right amount of shade for where I wanted it.I have some others that are dark gray, and the shade is deeper, but not by much. The beige one looks more illuminated.I got a base on wheels from Amazon too and that works great. I can even move it around for the sun.Then in the “winter” when I want the sun, I just put it away.

Umbrella material in tan color is a very light tan which provides only moderate shade. Also there is no tie for umbrella to close umbrella tightly.

We have a small patio , the rectangular umbrella fits perfectly. Covers the area and makes it feel like our special little nook by the pool. I put two chaise lounges with cozy pillowed cushions under the rectangle umbrella , every time I go outside I feel I’m on vacation🏖️The umbrella is sturdy , the handle to open and close is well made and has a safety pin to enforce and stop umbrella from closing . The color , I went with Navy blue. UV and water resistant The poles are well made.I did buy an umbrella stand that I can use water or sand to make it stable from blowing away. It has held up well . I’m very pleased with my purchase .

this is an amazing umbrella. I don't expect it to last forever, but I was impressed with the quality. I wanted a rectangle one to block the sun from my sliding glass door, I slipped this under the eve of the house, and it rests under the rain gutter. Perfect. So good I bought a second one several days later. Can't beat the price...the stand cost me more than the umbrella.
