There is not much to say about this socket other than it works fine and is easy to install. Seems to be standard quality and comparable with the original lamp socket that was being replaced. I installed this to fix a flickering light and it fixed the issue completely. My wife was ready to throw our expensive floor lamp away but I ordered this instead and had it fixed in less than 10 minutes for about $6.

Item was as expected and looked to be good quality at first glance. But when I went to loosen gold screw to attach wire, found that the screw was apparently cross-threaded during assembly and couldn't be turned. Because I was behind schedule getting a working lamp, I decided the item was propably ok otherwise and used narrow-nosed locking pliers to grip screw and turn out far enough to get the wire underneath. I was then able to tighten the screw with a screwdriver. In the end it works, but I shouldn't have to futz around like this and was lucky I had the right tool to work around a defect.
