Kichler is one of my favorite brands for home lighting. We own several Kichler fixtures, including three matching pendants in our kitchen, one pendant in a bedroom hallway, a wall sconce over a stairway, and an outdoor wall sconce. I ordered the "KICHLER Delarosa 1-Light Pendant, Updated Traditional Light in Black and Champagne Bronze" for a relatively small dining room. The product page refers to the fixture as an "updated traditional beauty." I agree that the style is traditional, although probably more of a modern industrial vintage style. And it's definitely quite beautiful with its large, slim, and sloping appearance than other pendant lights or chandeliers of this type with a more utilitarian look.You can generally count on at least three common elements of a Kichler lighting fixture. First, they are made to last a long time. Second, they are quite substantial in weight and appearance. Also, their design elements tend to be both elegant and bold. Further, they tend to cost more than other lighting fixtures, due to their better quality and higher production costs.My wife and I like everything about this extra-large (24-inch) pendant light by Kichler, and we're looking forward to installing it in the near future. I intend to install it myself, with my wife's help in mounting the shade, which is heavier than it appears on the product page. (The item weight is listed at 9.4 pounds.)In the meantime, I'm rating this new addition to our Kichler collection a solid 5 stars.

Kichler's Delarosa's pendant light arrived very nicely packaged and protected. It arrived in perfect condition.The lamp is well made and uses high quality materials. The shade is a sturdy metal. The matte black finish on the outside and matte white on the inside are nicely and evenly applied. The brushed gold hardware is heavyweight and beautifully finished.It looks lovely hanging over our dining room table and does not overwhelm our modestly sized dining room. The chain is more than long enough to accommodate our 8' tall ceilings. The lamp is sleek and modern, but also has a slightly rustic feel. It works well adjacent to our French country kitchen.Installation was done by a professional, and he did not have any issues.All in all... a great pendant lamp.
