I bought this 4 piece set for $60, so $15 per light. For the price I didn’t expect much but I wasn’t going to be out much either. I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality and performance.We have a 24’x16’ chicken run. It has 1/2” spacing hardware cloth to keep the chickens in and snakes out. Over that we have a heavy gauge 2”x4” wire to keep out larger predators. We have hardware cloth as an apron along the ground extending out 2-3’ to discourage predators digging under the fence. The lights are mounted on the sides of the fence pointed down at about 45 degrees. At that angle the motion detection works when something paces within about 10-12’.The lights work perfectly for my situation. They cover exactly 180 degrees of ground. They are surprisingly bright! I use them on setting #1 so they only come on when they detect movement and only stay on 10-15 seconds. I want them to scare away anything from the coop/ run at night.We live in a very rural area surrounded by a forest of pine and oak trees. Coyote, fox, raccoons, possum, and all kinds of wildlife are in our yard all the time. I am up before dawn every morning and have personally seen the lights activate at 4-5am twice to scare away a possum. They work like I want them to!!My lights are mounted 6-8’ off the ground, out in the open. There is no slanted roof over them to cause a runoff problem. The seals are not leaking into the units. Because of our heavily wooded property, they only get a few hours of direct sun each day but since they only come on for a few seconds when activated, the batteries stay charged all the time.They’ve only been in use for 2 months, but they have worked out perfectly. At the price I paid, if they only last 1 year I will be happy.

This has been a great safety concern alleviated in my townhouse neighborhood. I have installed/ easy install using zipties on poles in our neighborhood because we don't have street lights. Place them on downspouts and porch posts and they work like a charm and light up brightly. I have owned them now for 3 yrs and they are still working only 1 has stopped working out of the 6 that I purchased. They stay up 24/7 through all seasons and I live in the midwest so we have all the seasons... Recommend this to others, great product for ease of minds of what could be around the corner in the dark,...

This is a quick and easy product to use. The assembly is simple (for the most part). The range and scope of the light is great and I like that it has different settings for the light operation. The LED panels are adjustable so you can widen or narrow the light which has been a godsend for keeping an eye on my doggo at night. The light is pretty bright and so far the solar aspect of it works great. Even in days where all it’s done was poured the rain, there’s plenty of juice in there for the light to function. I haven’t used the remote yet as I mostly have it set up for my dog at night but it seems easy enough to use!I’m giving 4 stars for a few reasons, but they may not apply to you!!!1) I had trouble with installation—it was a bit frustrating getting the light in a position where I could fit a drill/screwdriver in there to secure the base. Could be a design flaw or user error, honestly😅2) The timing options are a little off. The ones that I purchased won’t just stay on. They stay on for a set time then cut off until the sensor is triggered again. There are options for how the timing works but mine don’t seem to do that (they all function the same).3) The sensor position/ quality- there are times when the sensor doesn’t pick up motion as easily should, leaving me to wave my hand all around it until it notices, but this is not very frequent.Overall for the price and general quality, it’s a great buy and an excellent alternative to the pricey ones from your chain stores!

I use these indoors during electric peak times to cut my electric bill. I've always unplugged everything possible when not in use to save energy, opened blinds, etc. These are a game changer bc I recently moved & my kitchen & bathroom don't have windows in them. 😔 during peak hours 3-7pm electric rates are much higher also. That's dinner time. I have a covered balcony without much direct sunlight so it took about 4 days to fully charge. I almost thought they weren't going to work & was ready to return. Happily tonight I went on my balcony & they both came on. I didn't mount them outside. I brought them inside, left them on motion setting. They are so bright that I can see everything & cook. I will use a heavy velcro to remove & recharge as needed but so far fabulous! It's 4am & works great to use restroom, kitchen without electricity! For anyone else that needs to be frugal & cut their electricity consumption, I highly recommend trying something like this. Would work great for a walk in / closet, stairwell etc. I also use rechargeable light bulbs in some spots but these are bright & great for task work. Disabled Senior & the motion brightness is great for me! I don't have a remote control. Very pleased. I have a different type of solar light for patio w/ more ambiance. These are so bright that I'm sure they'll be great for security purposes, letting dogs outside, outdoor tasks. Love them. If you have a senior, dark area, or want to save $. This is the ticket!
