We just repainted our house exterior and it was time to upgrade the exterior lights as well. I love that these are larger format and the rectangle shape fits better with our new front door and style of house. I like that they have a sealed bottom to keep bugs away from the light bulbs, since we keep our carriage lights on all night; they used to get very coated in bugs. Now it’s easier to brush off the outside and they still look clean. We put led flame look bulbs in (don’t cheap out and get no name brand ones, they will flicker)

Nice quality, the bottom hinged trap door is a nice touch for keeping dirt fibbers etc out. Very happy with the quality

Installation was easy enough. I like that they have it all to help the process. The overall construction is good and I love the flip up bottom for light bulb installation. The glass was well done - very bright from my bulb. The mid century look is very cool and it looks like it will hold up as long as the last one. Good solder joints and paint. Overall this is a good light fixture for your front porch if it's time for an upgrade.
