I like these very much. The bulb's light shines downward for reading as well as outward to lighten the room. I don't need a separate reading light. Brightness and color choices are great.

Excellent daylight brightness; 10 watts, 6000 lumens, LED. Perfect for lighted cosmetic mirror light. Wish it came in a one or two pack quantity vs 5 pack.

Wow for the first time my front door is Beautiful and bright. These bulbs are great for dark streets. Even my Ring door bell is happy! Only wish Amazon would show country of origin up front, wish these were made in USA!

I got these bulbs because they are short enough to fit in a fixture we have over our kitchen island. This fixture originally had halogen bulbs, and most LED lights are too tall and stick out over the top. I had originally used a different brand of LED corn bulb in the fixture, but those had fairly short life and 9 out of the 12 I bought over the last 5 years have failed (see second attached picture with two dim bulbs). I just replaced all of those with these new bulbs, as shown in the first attached picture. I haven’t had them long enough to see how they last, but so far they look good. I purchased a somewhat cooler color temperature for these, 4000K compared to 3000K for the old bulbs. I am hoping this makes it seem a little brighter and easier to see in our kitchen. As far as actual brightness of the bulbs, these don’t really seem any brighter than the old bulbs, even though the old ones were listed as 60W replacement and these are supposedly 75W replacement bulbs. And that’s probably not surprising since these are rated as 7.5W and the old ones were 7.0W, which is much difference. Based on my experience with various LED bulbs, I would say these are more of a 60W replacement bulb than a 75W replacement. These do have longer threaded portions of the screw base than the old bulbs, which I think helps them screw into the sockets more securely. Since I just put these in today, it remains to be seen how long they last. But so far I would recommend them. My only recommendation would be to get the same color temperature bulbs as any other lighting where you are using them, since these are available in at least 3 different color temperatures. Now that I have them, to me at least, the 4000K is a little bit too much difference from the 2700K warm white lights we have in ceiling can lights and under our counters (see third attached picture).

They're a little bit bluer than I would expect a daylight white bulb to be, and compared to my other 100W equivalent LED lightbulb they don't seem quite as bright. They're more closer to a 75W equivalent. I do like that they have a 360 deg lighting angle compared to some other LED bulb designs, but I also feel like these may produce a lot of flicker that can be harsh on the eyes. I'll update you in a few weeks to see if it becomes an issue. I've historically developed an eye twitch from bad LED lighting while reading, so if the twitch comes back I'll let you know.Edit: I'm removing another star. 1 of the bulbs has a short in it or something because it sometimes won't go on all the way and is dimmer than the other bulbs.Edit 2: I've confirmed my suspicions. I have an LED Edison-type bulb that's rated as 800 lumens. Comparing them side by side, there's NO WAY any of these are 1200 lumens. They're not even 75-watt equivalent brightness. They're MAYBE 60 Watt equivalent, and that's a big MAYBE Deducting another star.
