I don’t know what I was expecting. Maybe it to be brighter? It will not be used for what I wanted it for. The tapping to change lights is a pain in the butt. I end up tapping past the color I wanted . I do like how you can make it tall or shorted. Very light weight. Was going to use outside on a table but wind will blow it over in a sec. Only used it a short time so far.

Love these lamps. Bring them to a weekly event at our park. They are great for lighting up the table, when games go long. Battery last 6-8 hours maybe more. I got the blue color pair, they are lovely. Highly recommend.I recommend to keep them in a travel pouch when on the go, the paint is matte and I scuffed one carelessly as I take them camping too.And I also use them on my dining table at home.

Bought these for our dining room table after seeing something similar at a restaurant. Our dining room lighting options are overhead can lights which tend to be harsh, or ambient lights which tend to be too dim. I was contemplating installing a light specifically for the table when I saw these and thought we'd give them a try. They're easy to put together, create a functional but warm light on our table, particularly during Midwest winter months. They are cordless and rechargeable and have a number of color settings though multi color options probably aren't necessary for us. One thing I've noticed since getting them is that we tend to spend more time at the table being together after dinner talking. Time well spent. A couple of things I'd tweak - I wish they were 3-4 inches taller. I have a block under ours, which spreads light across the table a little better. I also need to charge them about once a week. No big deal. We bought two because our table is long.
