Great but heats up very fast so much so you can't touch the switch on the bulb without turning it off first and letting it cool.

Love the innovative products Feit Electric continues to release.This bulb is affordable, bright at 1500 lumens, and has adjustable white settings. I used to buy the more expensive 1600-lumen Wi-Fi Feit Electric bulb mainly because it was one of the few options above 1500 lumens. But I never really needed the Wi-Fi or color features, so this is a great cheaper alternative.I replaced the dull lights in my ceiling fans with these, and the brightness difference is excellent.

I'm loving these Feit light bulbs!!!!! I originally got a couple of their 100W selectable color bulbs and liked them so much I decided to swap out bulbs in two other rooms where the light was less than optimal, where I had ceiling fan lights that simply did not light the room sufficiently. I absolutely love that I can change the color temperature and brightness while sticking with a lower wattage. WORLD of difference in these rooms now.

After using 6 of these bulbs in a bathroom for 14 months, one died. Since the bulb has a three year warranty I contacted Feit. They immediately responded and sent two bulbs to replace the bad one. That's great costumer service and contrasts starkly with others I have used.

FEIT is one of the best makers of energy efficient bulbs. You can expect a long lasting and energy efficient light. This bulb is not just a color changing bulb for cute lighting effects. The easily accessed slide switch allows you to modify the overall color temperature even while the light is on. The whiter settings are best during the day and also for accurate photography. More blue may be a little harder on the eyes, but it stimulates mental alertness. The warmer settings are best at night when our bodies expect to calm before sleeping. The effects of lighting on the body and mind have been studied many times over the decades. This is not a phony gimmick. It is nice to have this new color temperature adjustment available.
