It would work beautifully in a bathroom, hallway, stairway, bedroom, or living area.The alabaster globe has substantial weight, which immediately adds to the feeling of quality. This is not a thin, lightweight shade that feels fragile or inexpensive. Mine has prominent natural veining running through the stone, and those details become even more beautiful when illuminated. The entire globe glows while the darker lines and textured areas remain visible, giving it depth and character that ordinary glass cannot duplicate. Since this is natural stone, every fixture will have its own unique pattern.Setup is straightforward, and two G9 bulbs are included, so there is no need to purchase bulbs separately before testing or installing the fixture. I appreciate receiving an extra bulb because G9 bulbs are not always something people keep on hand.The three selectable color temperatures provide additional flexibility.
