LED Linear Light Fixture

I installed this light in my shed along with several other fixtures, and I've been happy with it.One of the better features is the way the light attaches to its mounting base. I could screw the base into position first while the actual fixture was hanging from the retaining clips. That meant I didn't have to simultaneously hold the entire light against the ceiling while trying to mount and wire everything.Once the base was installed and everything was ready, I simply clipped the light itself back into place.The same design makes it fairly easy to open again later. Pressing the release points lets the light separate from the base without having to remove the entire mounting assembly from the ceiling.The light output is good for a fixture of this size. It isn't the brightest light I have in my shed, but it provides plenty of useful illumination and works well alongside the other fixtures.It also has selectable output settings, so the wattage can be changed between the available levels before installation or whenever the fixture is accessible.The mounting design was what impressed me most. Ceiling-mounted lights can be irritating when you're trying to hold the fixture, manage wiring, and drive screws at the same time, and this design removes a lot of that nonsense.

This light fixture is incredibly powerful, and on its own, can light up a medium-sized room such as a garage or storage room. It comes with a convenient, detachable base, which houses all of the wiring for a clean installation. The driver allows for toggling between 30-40-50 W and three color temperatures to select from. I found a power supply that has enough wattage and used it to wire to an outlet, which worked flawlessly, if that is an option you are considering. Although not provided, this fixture is dimmable with a compatible dimmer. Externally, it is a modern, sleek design that is both unobtrusive and easily blends with its matte white finish. Like most modern LEDs, these are extremely energy-efficient without compromising power and performance. I used these to help brighten up some dark spots in my basement, and I am overall very pleased with the end result.

I am not sure what use case the designers of this fixture had in mind. It is very versatile: you can adjust power and color temperature. All this is available under the cover which can be removed by pushing in 4 buttons. In my experience people select power and temperature once and for all - after all the fixtures are typically installed at the ceiling.There is also an input for controlling the brightness of this fixture. By supplying 0-10V DC you can change the brightness from 0 to maximum. However this requires installation of an additional low-voltage pair of wires and a controlling device (not included).While the fixture is well made and has a lot of features I think it is a niche product. You can by a relatively big set of LED fixtures with larger total power for the price of this single fixture.

I'm using this in a workshop where good lighting makes a big difference, so having the ability to choose both the brightness and color temperature before installation is useful.This fixture has selectable wattage (30W, 40W, or 50W) along with three color temperature options, so one light can be adjusted for different spaces instead of buying multiple versions.It mounts directly to the ceiling and includes the hardware needed for installation. It's also designed to run without fluorescent tubes or ballasts, so there are fewer parts to deal with down the road.I haven't installed it yet, but the fixture arrived well packed, and the housing is metal rather than thin plastic. I'll update if anything changes after it's been in use for a while.

Great light bar for illuminating the work area in the workshop. I really like that these lights can be wired to a three prong desktop power cord and turn on as soon as they are connected to a 110V 15amp typical house outlet. Even in plain daylight these lights provide visual clarity in shaded areas. Quality wise, the frame and electrical components inside feel very well made of durable materials. In regards to functionality, these lights function as they should with a good deal of brightness. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

This overhead light fixture is a surprise. It illuminated my very dark garage very well, but without the usual glare and eyestrain I noticed with other fixtures whenever I spent long hours working there.One of the reasons why it was more comfortable to work beneath this fixture was because of the three lighting temps: 4000K (warm white), 5000K (neutral white), and 6000K (daylight white). So far, I’m keeping it at 4000K which is bright enough for my small garage but the other choices were also glare-free.It was also easy to install and I appreciate the 5 year warranty and its overall power efficiency which is designed to reduce electric costs in addition to the manufacture’s promise of 50,000 hours of “maintenance-free performance.” Great!So far, so bright! I like everything about this fixture and will be ordering more for other rooms. The inexpensive cost is well-lit too.
