Nice quality lamps, but the connecting cables are too short for anything other than 6-8” between lamps. I had to order wires that allowed me to spread the lamps out 3’-4’ apart

I’ll start by saying the value is there. Six light fixtures for that price is totally worth it. I gave it 3 out of 5 Stars (although my real opinion is 2.5 but that’s not an option) and here’s why.1. My biggest disappointment is the light output. If your like me and like things bright and lit up like a Christmas tree these are not the lights for you. I installed them in my very small basement and am disappointed but I ran all new wiring and there done so it is what it is. The advertisement says “great way to light up your garage” and it will for most people but if your like me and crave lots of light these are not bright enough.2. For those of you that know electrical you’ll understand. The fact that there is not a “knock out” for a button or mechanical connector is a shame. I had to drill out all six to put button connectors. And secondly the wires could be a tick longer but I also didn’t want to cut the wire ties just to keep everything very neat.3. My third thing is more advice than a complaint. I read many reviews complaining about the plastic covers and how hard it is to put them back. It in fact is not, it’s actually quite simple really. You just start in one corner and then lock in that entire side. After that pivot the other side up lengthwise and then push upward in the center and run your finger lengthwise and bang it’ll all just snap in. For me the problem is between the cover not being clear and the LED strip being in a tube it cuts down on the light output big time.If you’ve read this far you can take my review however you like and hopefully it helps you either way you decide

These are quite good. Overall, they are exactly what I wanted. They would be nearly perfect if there were two things they could change: the delay from when the switch is on to when the light comes on AND provide longer options for the cable which connects multiple lights. It took my weeks and a couple trust to find the proper size cord that was longer than the included 6".Other than those points, I am happy with these light. They are pretty easy to install, are basic but seem durable, are very lightweight, and provide great light.

I'm very happy with these lights overall. The 5k lighting is very bright and everything seems to have their normal color but more importantly my whole garage is lit up again. When I replaced my old fluorescents with LEDs, my power bill dropped about $50-$100 a month depending on how much time I spent in the garage. Those were bulbs you had to rewire your ballast with and the company quickly disappeared after I bought them and imagine that, most of them died on me ;)I've seen SunCo around for quite a while so that's good when considering a warranty.There were 3 reported issues I'd like to give feed back on.Buzzing, Visible Wires, and the Evil Cover.Buzzing: Each one of them has a buzz/hum to it. It's not very loud but you'll hear em if it's quiet but I'm sure a casual conversation would be enough to mute it.Visible Wires: If you can see your wires, then you just didn't spend any time tucking them up. This is true for ALL shop lights and any light source for that matter. If you have an object in the path of the light.... You will.... See it! Only pull enough wire that you need and tuck back up as much as you can. There's a lip on the side where you can force your wires to stay and you'll never see 'em. One key thing I did was to NOT remove the taped wires from the LED lights. I left 'em in place and dealt with the hassle of connecting short wires but I have a clean install.Evil Cover: First, pay attention to how seamless these covers are to the frame. This is important when reinstalling ;) As for most this took some thinkin and tinkering but I have a consistent method now. First, get one of those cell phone repair kits with the nylon pry tool or really just a plastic non-marring pry tool. A guitar pick would be perfect!Wedge your pry tool under the cover in the center of the light, don't even bother attempting from the ends. Once it's wedged as far as it will go, do NOT pry with it. While holding the wedge, slip 1 or more fingers under the cover where you're wedging. Use your other hand and grab the light housing with your thumb running along the housing along the cover but NOT on the cover. The rest of your hand/fingers are gripping the side and bottom of the housing. Squeeze firmly but don't crush it and rotate your wrist outwards and you'll lightly bend out the housing. Now your other hand with the wedge and fingers under the cover and lift/squeeze and pop that cover off. VOILA! :D :\ Once it makes sense and you get it, you can do this repeatedly in a few seconds.Getting the cover back on now... Lining up one end or trying to line up one whole side works but it will take some effort and time to pop it all in and when you first get it in and think you're done... YOU'RE WRONG!!! :D Go up and down with both hands and you'll be able to keep popping it in. If you're in but too far to one side so the other side isn't seating, just grab the unhinged end and pull/slide it the other way till the other edge is fully against the hinged side, and then the unhinged side will finally play a bit nicer.This is why I said to pay attention to how seamless these covers are. You are not done until you get this back to the way it was when you opened the box. It'll look almost right but you'll be able to get a few more pops in then it will be 100% flush.Overall I'm very happy since I only have 1 LED tube vs. 2 LED tubes so half the power and the same amount of light as the T8 dual bulb re-wire your ballast LED job. I think I paid twice the price for just the bulbs vs. these too so overall MUCH MUCH better! They've only been up for a couple weeks so we'll see how time goes. If only I had taken care of this when I rebuilt my entire suspension and welded it with just the garage door lights and a lamp :D :|Have fun!

We had direct-wired, flush mounted florescent tube fixtures in our garage that would turn on about half the time. I must say they were about 15 years old. I wanted to replace them with similar LED fixtures (direct-wired, flush mounted) to retain the "finished" look. These (Sunco Lighting Wraparound LED Shop Lights, 4 FT, Linkable) .were just the ticket -- a direct replacement at 1/2 the wattage. In one area of the garage where I have a work bench, there was one florescent fixture above the bench. Because the new Suncos were linkable, I was able to add a second fixture linked to the one that was direct-wired, thus giving twice the lumens without having to crawl into the attic and wire-in an additional box. Another feature I like is that the fixtures have a nice finished look to them -- much nicer than the ones that simply hang from the ceiling by a light-weight chain. I would definitely recommend these if you're wanting to replace old direct wired florescent fixtures with LEDs. You'll be happy you did!!
